Two of my friends had birthdays recently and since we wanted to eat buffet, we decided to try Barbeque Nation. I’m happy to say that we weren’t disappointed. Barbeque Nation is situated at the outer circle in Connaught Place, Delhi.
At Barbeque Nation, they serve both the Veg as well as the Non-Veg buffet but being a vegetarian, I can only tell you about the Veg food ( Though I heard from my friends the Non-Veg was good too). They serve a variety of starters like paneer tikka, barbequed pineapple, spiced potatoes, and all of them were pretty mouth-watering. They have a live mini-grill on each table, so your food continuously stays hot and delicious.
Moving on to the main course, it was toothsome and delicious too. Though I couldn’t eat much as I was quite full from stuffing all those starters already. They serve all the popular dishes like daal makhi, shahi paneer, etc. You can also enjoy the soup and variety of salads.
And if you still have room for desserts (who am I kidding, everyone has room for desserts), they offer a wide variety of them too, from coconut phirnee to chocolate brownie, from gulab jamun to ice cream. They also have a kulfi corner, where customise your kulfi as you want. Also, don’t forget your free complimentary drink. Since we were celebrating a birthday treat, they also served us a complimentary cake!
My top suggestion? Try paneer tikka, spicy potatoes, phirnee and kulfi (which you can customise as you want btw).
The ambience and environment were pretty great, and the service was nice and fast. It was easily reachable too. (like which place isn’t in CP?)
Overall, we had a great time at Barbeque Nation, and plan to visit it soon again. 😀
PS: If you get too full from the buffet (which you most likely will), Agrasen Ki Baoli is just a pleasant 1-1.5km walk away. (The photogenic and history lover inside you will thank you) 🙂
